At the recent CWEA Spring Meeting, the voting membership present approved the restructuring of the Advisory Council into two separate bodies focused on Guard and Percussion/Winds, respectively. The membership nominated and elected up to two delegates from each competitive class. The selected delegates will serve a yearlong term, including intensive discussion at the upcoming summer Board Retreat. Additionally, they will then select Chairs for each Council, who will serve on the Executive Board of Directors in a non-voting capacity.
CWEA looks forward to more active and passionate discussion about the future of the circuit and its sponsored activities. Congratulations to those who were elected to serve on the 2019 Advisory Council!
